Positions:
Center Director-
A Bachelor's degree including, or in addition to, 12 credits in Early childhood, Child development or a related field and one yr. full time teaching experience in a child day care center, family or group family day care home or other early childhood program and one year of experience supervising staff.
Education Coordinator-
Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood, child development or related field with a minimum of 18 credits en early childhood ed. or child development with four years paid exp. in an early childhood program.
Family Community Services Coor.- Associates Degree in Human Services or other related field, basic computer skills, bi-lingual ability, ability to work nights and weekends. Knowledge of parent involvement techniques. Valid driver's license.
Family Service Coor. Asst.-
High School diploma or GED required. ability to work evenings and weekends, valid driver's license, bilingual ability.
Senior Teacher- Assoc Degree or a Bachelors Degree in ECE or child development, or related field with 18 credits in ECE or child development.
Must be employed by Agribusiness for a min. of 2 years.
Teacher/Team Leader- A.S. or a BA in early childhood education or child developmentor related field with 18 college credits in ECE or child development and two years exp. related to caring for children.
Assistant Teacher-CDA credential and two years of paid experience working with young children. Asst. assigned to Infant and Toddler classrooms must have an Infant/Toddler CDA credential.
Teacher Aide-No minimum educational background is required for an entry aide, however all new teacher aides must have a high school diploma or GED in order to be eligible for raises. All classroom staff assigned to Infant and Toddler classrooms must obtain an Infant/Toddler CDA within one year of their hire date.
Health/Disabiliity Coordinator-Certification as Licensed Practical Nurse or Licensed Registered Nurse.
Cook-18 years of age,background experience in meal preparation and planning,
must be able to lift 30 lbs.
Cook Aide-18 years of age,
must be able to lift 30 lbs., functionally literate.
Bus Driver-Minimum of 21 years of age, possess currently valid New York State, CDL-B: Passenger Transport driver's license, bearing no more than six (6) violation points as verified by Abstract of Operating Record for the Department of Motor Vehicles, certified to be in good health by a licensed physician and has completed the ABCD Bus Drivers Application packet,
meet 19A qualifications,
must be functionally literate,
must be able to lift 30 lbs.
Bus Aide-Minimum 18 years of age,no minimum educational background is required,experience in working with young children is desirable, bilingual ability preferred in bilingual centers,must be able to lift 50 lbs.
